Microsoft Office 365

Microsoft 365 is a subcription based product family of productivity software, collaboration, and cloud-based services. It encompasses online services such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and programs formerly marketed under the name Microsoft Office (including applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) on Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and the web.

E-mail/Domain Services

If you don't already have one, Need-a-Nerd can help you find a domain name and configure secure email accounts for you and your users, in Office 365 and Outlook. There are numerous advantages to doing this vs. using a free email service like Gmail or Hotmail. Most importantly, it makes your business communications and marketing appear a lot more credible. And it won't get marked as spam.

OneDrive

OneDrive is a secure cloud storage service provided by Office 365, allowing you to store and access your files from any device with an internet connection. Most commonly, Need-a-Nerd uses OneDrive to sync your Desktop, Document, Pictures and Download folders. This allows you to access them from your phone, tablet, or other computer, even a Mac. It also creates a backup of these folders and files.

SharePoint

If your business currently has a file server, we can migrate it to SharePoint. There are numerous advantages to doing this. SharePoint is a collaboration software platform allowing your business to store and organize information, and facilitate teamwork and communication. It provides a secure online environment for storing, sharing, and accessing files, documents, and data from any location and device with a web browser.

Office Apps

Microsoft Office (including applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) are also available through Office 365 for an additional monthly cost. However, you can still use the standalone versions of these apps with Office 365, without the additional price. Web based versions of these apps are also available without the additional cost. Need-a-Nerd can configure your MS Office app system based on your requirements and budget. MS Office apps also work with your phone, tablet, or Mac.

Teams

Microsoft Teams is a collaboration platform that integrates people, content, and tools to enhance team and employee productivity and engagement. It includes Video Conferencing, Meetings, Chat, and Calling and many other useful tools. You can use it to host Virtual Meetings with up to 300 particpants.
